Church visits - United Reformed Church and Sacred Heart Church!

Class 2 have been visiting two local churches as part of our Christian denominations topic. We visited the Roman Catholic Church in Whaley Bridge, and the United Reformed Church - also in Whaley Bridge.

The children were treated to a talk, presentation, a taste of the bread, a look around the churches, and a singing Easter Bunny!

The children were incredibly well behaved throughout, and it was a pleasure!

Many thanks to the parent helpers - you were brilliant!

Manchester Jewish Museum Trip!

On 29th November, Class 2 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Manchester Jewish Museum.

The class have been learning lots of information about the Jewish religion, and were able to dress up, act out parts of synagogue worship, play a detectives game, and read and write in Hebrew!

It was a fantastic way to bring the learning together, and I would like to say a big thank you to all of the helpers, some of which volunteered their time.

Also, thank you to all of the children, as their behaviour was excellent throughout, and they represented the school wonderfully!
