Snow Monday
Mon, January 21, 2013 at 7:52 AM Hello out there. What a beautiful day!
In between doing fun things in the snow, there are a couple of things I would like you to do...
Hugo Cabret: We left our story having just found out about the tragic death of his father. What do you think Hugo will do next? Write a short piece explaining your ideas to bring to school and share with us tomorrow. If you are feeling real really creative, you could try to illustrate some of your ideas in the style of Brian Selznick.
Angles: Having looked at different types of angles last week - right angles, acute and obtuse - make a table with three columns and see how many things in your house (or outside) you can find that have these different types of angles in them. You can write or draw them. If you are feeling very clever (like you usually are) you could try to make a Venn diagram to show which things have different combinations of the angle types in.
Fun: Please go outside and do all the things you should in the snow. Including the things you are not allowed to at school! If you get bored there is always Bitstrips.

Read some of our letters!
Wed, October 24, 2012 at 3:50 PM The children have been focusing on the book Skellig this half term. Based on the book they have written some letters from the character Michael to his baby sister using descriptive language. There are some examples of these letters in the homework section and it would be time well spent having a read!
