Happy New Year and welcome back!

It has been lovely to have the children back in school and listen to all of their conversations about how they spent Christmas with their family and friends.

This half term, in maths, the children are going to be learning the methods required for short division of 2 or 3 digit numbers. In English, the children are completing a persuasive letter - the inspiration of this still being the book Farther by Grahame Baker Smith.

The first topic of this term will be Canada, where the children will be looking at similarities and differences between the UK and Canada in relation to their human and physical geography.

In PE, the children will be learning various jumps, rolls and balances and then combing these to create their own sequences which will be performed to their peers.
