Harvest Celebrations and Disco Carrots

After celebrating the Harvest Festival at church, we've had lots of fun finding out about the harvest in class. We've sang songs, had the farm out, had stories, made flowers and harvest related things from the Stickle Bricks and Build a Garden construction kits. We all loved our harvest reveal game too on the interactive white board. One of the stories we enjoyed was 'Oliver's Vegetables' all about a little boy who tried lots of new vegetables. Finally, here's a picture of our sparkly 'Disco Carrots' which also helped us to count to five on our fingers. Fun!
